The air in the lab was thick with the heady scent of ethanol and botanicals. Carefully, I watched the droplets of condensation clinging to the glass. I was drunk out of my mind, but for some reason, it just felt right to be doing this.
“Just a few more adjustments, a touch more heat,” I mumbled.
‘And then my solution will be complete.’
